Creator earnings calculator

Views × RPM ÷ 1,000. You choose the RPM — this shows the arithmetic, not a promise.

per day
per month
per year

RPM varies enormously by niche, country and season. Check your own in YouTube Studio → Analytics → Revenue; do not trust anyone's "average".

What RPM means

RPM is what you actually keep per 1,000 views after the platform's share, across every view — monetised or not. It is not CPM (what advertisers pay per 1,000 ad impressions), which is always higher. Finance and software channels can see RPMs many times those of gaming or music; the same channel can double in Q4 and halve in January.

What this calculator cannot tell you

It cannot know your niche, your audience's countries or your watch time, all of which move RPM more than view count does. Treat the output as arithmetic on your own assumption — and note that purchased views are not monetised and do not count toward the YouTube Partner Program's watch-hour requirement.

Questions

What RPM should I enter?

Your own, from YouTube Studio. If you are not monetised yet, try a low and a high figure to see the range rather than relying on a single 'average'.

Do bought views earn ad revenue?

No. Ad revenue comes from monetised playbacks by real viewers. Purchased views change the public counter, not your earnings.
